In short
The site keeps only what you type into the waitlist form, to tell you when sales open. The RaceFirmware app collects no data: telemetry, rides and settings stay on your phone. No ads, analytics or trackers; the site sets no cookies.

What is kept. Your email, name (if given), country, bike model year, battery, phone (iPhone or Android), comment, the page's language, the date of the entry and the record of your consent.
Why. To write to you before sales open — price, install procedure, dates — and to learn which bikes and batteries the people waiting have, so compatibility can be checked ahead. No other mailings; the data is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes. If a partner is to install in your region, they get your contact details only with your separate consent. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Where. In a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and processes the data on our behalf; only ALEX_V LABS has access to the entries.
Bot check. The form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile: Cloudflare receives technical details of your browser and your IP address, for the check only, under its privacy policy.
IP address. To limit the number of tries, the server keeps not the address but an irreversible hash of it with a secret salt, for one day, then deletes it. Cloudflare keeps the hosting's request logs under its own policy.
Cookies and counters. The site sets no cookies, uses no browser storage, and loads no visit counters, ads or fonts from other servers.
Retention. While the waitlist runs, and no longer than 24 months from the entry's date; then the entry is deleted.
Your rights. To see what is kept about you, correct it, delete it or withdraw consent, write to [email protected] from the address you gave in the form. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your country's data protection authority.
The RaceFirmware app
The app has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and sends no data to its developer.
- The Bluetooth link to the bike. Telemetry, parameters and the controller's replies travel between the phone and the bike's Bluetooth module and are processed only on the phone.
- Location — only while a ride is being recorded, to show its route on the map. Routes are kept on the phone.
- The map. On iPhone — Apple Maps (MapKit), under Apple's policy. On Android — MapLibre with OpenFreeMap's map: while the map is on screen, the phone downloads its tiles from OpenFreeMap's servers, which see your IP address and the map area.
- App settings, rides, the odometer and settings backups are kept on the phone.
- Files leave the phone only when you choose: when you share a file (telemetry CSV, a ride's GPX and CSV, a settings backup) — through AirDrop, Quick Share, mail or another app of your choice.
- Deleting. Delete the app and all its data on the phone goes with it. A ride can also be deleted in the app.
Children
The site and the app are not intended for children and do not knowingly process their data.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date; we'll write to the people on the waitlist about significant changes. Questions — [email protected].
